Aurora Dating is a brand new dating app that is completely FREE with unlimited features. Whether you are an Android user or an IOS user we have got you covered! Just go to your Play Store or App Store and download us for free and then, you can use our features for FREE!
Once you have downloaded us and created your profile you can get to grips with our features, add your photos, some more information about you and even create your own video profile to enhance your chances of making new connections.
After that you are ready to go!
Use our mixer feature to make your matches, swipe left if you’re not keen on a profile or right if you like them. Simply swipe the screen or push the buttons, it’s entirely up to you. If you have made a mistake or changed your mind, just press undo and swipe the way you wanted. You only get 50 swipes per 12 hours but you can get more if you watch an advert where you will get 5 more per go but at least we’re not asking you for your money, that is because we are true to our word in us being completely free!
So when you have made a connection it’s now time to message them, so what are you waiting for? Go ahead and make a good impression!

Aurora Dating was founded in 2021 in the United Kingdom. The idea of our application was to fill in certain gaps that were in the online dating industry. Since the global pandemic of the Coronavirus, the online dating industry has boosted in value and numbers of users signing up to them. You have got your ordinary and regular dating apps available. We don’t claim to be better than our competitors but we do aim to be an additional service. We aim to be more open, secure and transparent with our user base. But we also aim to make online dating more interactive. We have a goal to be going above and beyond the user’s expectations. Through time we will grow, develop and put our plans into practice.

Our Backstory
The idea originally came around in the year 2013 by Michael Byrne-Roberts. The idea back then was an excellent idea as none of the dating apps we know today had what we were going to offer and that was making dating apps all about video. Michael did not have the skills of how to create an app, so he did the next best thing which was to plan it and develop the idea further until one day there would come a time for it to be created.
In December 2019, Michael was in his final year of university in Southampton. There were reports of the coronavirus arising in December. Michael knew it was time for this idea to kickstart so partnered up with Domantas Rackov, Rubi Duragurung and Sakshi Tandon to put this plan into place. There were a few bumps in the road, the idea was going to start off being a website to begin with which proved to be challenging. All seemed lost but in early 2021 there was a breakthrough with a new direction to take. We would now proceed as originally planned to be a mobile application. We approached a development company based in the US who had a tailored plan in place that we could purchase.. So we did.
